School Knott - Holiday Let Windermere

School Knott view has a private drive within an easy walk of the popular town of Windermere. Accessed from the front, where there is a bright warm lounge area. A spacious dining kitchen, with seating around the dining table. Two double bedrooms with wardrobes share a bathroom with corner shower bath, hand basin and W.C.

Our check in time is at 4 pm and the check out time is 10.30 am. This is so we have enough time to clean the house thoroughly and in case we need to fix any problems before your arrival. We always try to get the house ready sooner than 4 pm and if we do we will message you as soon as it is ready for you. If you come by car you are welcome to use the parking space outside the front of the house at any time from 12pm on your arrival day. Unfortunately, we cannot allow check out later then the check out time of 10.30 a.m as we need this time to clean for the next guests.

We are also unable to store the bags in the house before and after check in due to our cleaning arrangements. There is however a luggage storage facility in Windermere. We can send you the information on where to find it etc. simply ask us

A short 10 min walk from the town centre. Where you will find an array of café’s, bars, restaurants and quirky independent shops. Closest of all is the well-known Home Ground cafe, renowned for being the best place to brunch in the whole of the Lake District.
Exploration and brunch over, it is then time to head down to Lake Windermere, found on the shores of equally iconic Bowness-on-Windermere, where you can again find more fantastic shopping and a thriving cafe and bar culture for you to enjoy. Rounding your afternoon off, take a leisurely walk along the glebe or, if your feeling more adventurous a boat ride on one of the many lake cruisers, alternatively, hire a private boat for a more personal experience and live out any sea fairing pirate fantasies you might have had as a child. This property truly finds the perfect balance between being in the thick of the hustle and bustle of a town and with its ever so slightly set back location, the quite tranquillity of country life.
