The Space

Located in the heart of the iconic Lake District town of Windermere, Rosemount is a beautifully appointed three-bedroom Victorian townhouse, perfect for families or groups of up to six. Each of the three first-floor bedrooms features a king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom, designed with comfort and care in mind. Downstairs, the open-plan living space invites relaxation with generous sofas, a crackling wood-burning stove, and a large Smart TV. The dining area, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, opens onto the rear garden for seamless indoor-outdoor living. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for home-cooked meals, with additional seating for a casual breakfast. A utility room on the basement level ensures convenience, while a shared family bathroom on the ground floor boasts a luxurious Villeroy and Boch bath with a shower over. The property features three bedrooms, each with Smart TVs and en-suite facilities. Additionally, it offers a family room, open-plan living space, kitchen, utility room, and sitting room. Amenities include central heating, a range cooker, 10 Smart TVs, WIFI, and an Amazon Echo Plus. Off-road parking for six cars, a rear garden with astroturf, picnic tables, and barbecue are also available. Bed linens and towels are provided for all guests. We’re pleased to share that a convenient tap has been installed at Rosemount, perfect for washing your pets after a day of exploring! As of October 2024, pets are welcome at the property for a small token fee. Please let us know in advance how many pets will be joining you.

Parking is available for up to six vehicles at Rosemount, however, there are easily accessible public transport options to consider: Train – Windermere railway station is located nearby, offering regular services from major cities such as Manchester, London, and Glasgow. From Windermere station, Lake Road is just a short taxi ride away. Bus – Windermere town is well-served by local bus services, with stops along Lake Road and nearby areas. Guests can check local bus schedules and routes for convenient travel options. Taxi – Taxis are readily available in Windermere, providing a convenient option for guests arriving at Windermere station or other nearby locations.
