The Space
A wonderful cozy ground floor one-bed open plan cottage with an airy, well-kept kitchenette and EnSite bathroom located just outside the bustling town of Bowness, situated on the corner of the Lake District national park, just a ten-minute drive from Windermere. Located a short walk from Bowness town where you will find an array of café’s, bars, restaurants, and quirky independent locally-owned shops that offer the perfect place for a spot of shopping or an afternoon tea. Before heading out further afield for the afternoon, explore the nearby towns of Kendal, Windermere, and all the Lake District has to offer.

Assigned parking is available.
Wheelchair access is, unfortunately, not available as there is not enough room by the bed for access and the doorways and access points are not sufficiently wide enough.
Getting Around
The Smithy is located on the outskirts of the Lake District with the bustling town of Windermere only a 10-min drive away. Kendal is also a short drive that has a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes. The walk to Bowness from the property is less than ten minutes.
