The pod features a spacious king-sized bed with bedside tables and lamps, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Stay entertained with the mounted smart TV, while the ensuite shower room offers large rain showers and provides toiletries and bath robes for your convenience.

Your stay at the Arles Beck Woodland Pod includes all the essentials for a comfortable experience. You’ll have access to WIFI, ensuring you stay connected throughout your stay. For your convenience, tea and coffee-making facilities are provided, along with an under-counter fridge, toaster, and microwave. You’ll also find a hairdryer, towels, and an iron with an ironing board.

Sit down at the dining table set for two and enjoy a meal together, or head to the nearby Brown Horse to enjoy an excellent meal surrounded by a bustling country pub atmosphere – but don’t forget to make your reservation to ensure that there’s a table ready and waiting to welcome you!

Step outside to the outdoor seating area and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. An outdoor storage box is provided to keep your belongings secure during your stay, convenient for storing lake equipment and walking gear.

We value the bond you share with your beloved furry companion, and we are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to dogs at the Arles Beck. To ensure their utmost comfort during their stay, we offer height-adjusted food/water bowls, a dog quick-drying towel, and complimentary poo bags. Please note that a pet fee of £20 per stay applies for one dog, and £25 per stay for two dogs.

Train: Oxenholme Lake District Station, located in Kendal, is the closest train station to the Lake District Pods at Winster. It provides excellent connections to major cities such as London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Alternatively, the Windermere Train Station can be found around 10 miles away in the iconic town of Windermere, the train station also hosts the main bus hub with many mainline changes and destinations for both bus and rail travellers.

Bus: The area is well-served by bus services, offering convenient routes connecting nearby towns and attractions. Kendal and Windermere have bus stations that provide access to various destinations within the Lake District.

Taxi or Car Hire: To enhance your flexibility and ease of travel, there are reliable taxi and car hire services available in the region. They offer convenient transportation options for exploring the surrounding towns and attractions at your own pace.

Check-in is from 4 PM, please make your way to the main on-site reception to check in with the on-site team!

Each pod comes with its own allocated parking space, although please note that it may not be located immediately outside your pod. Kindly be prepared to carry your luggage to your designated pod.

Please take into consideration that some of our pods have multiple steps for access. If you have restricted mobility, we recommend checking the map beforehand to ensure a suitable pod location.

Pets are welcome; however, they are only allowed into select pods, these are the Ghyll Head, Spring Wood, Arles Beck, Lyth Valley and the Rosthwaite.

We respectfully ask that you leave your furry friends at home when staying in the Whitbarrow, Orrest Head, or Winster Pods as these are pet-free pods!
