The lodge features three well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom on the ground floor includes a super king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and wash basin. Upstairs, two additional king-size bedrooms share a spacious family bathroom, which includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and wash basin. A third communal bathroom is located downstairs, featuring a charming cast iron roll-top bath, perfect for soaking after a day of adventure. All bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating, providing a luxurious touch throughout your stay.

The living areas of High Cross Lodge are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The cosy living room features a flat-screen TV and an indoor fireplace, creating a welcoming space to unwind after a day of exploring. Each bedroom also includes its own TV, offering additional privacy and entertainment. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for preparing meals, including a microwave, toaster, and a boiling tap with a filter, along with a full range of kitchenware. Trains: The nearest train station is in Windermere, about 10-15 minutes by car from Troutbeck. It offers direct services to Oxenholme on the West Coast Main Line, with connections to major cities like Manchester, London, and Edinburgh.
Buses: Regular buses connect Windermere and Ambleside to Troutbeck and other nearby villages – bus routes like Stagecoach 555 run between Kendal, Windermere, and Keswick, stopping in Troutbeck, but guests should check timetables in advance.
